The city of Springfield is surrounded by a multitude of beautiful parks and peaceful open spaces for the enjoyment and recreational activities of the Springfield Community. These outdoor places surrounding the Springfield Marketplace provide a great place for Springfield residents to unwind and enjoy the outdoor lifestyle, promoting a healthy life.
Head to Camira Recreation Park or Bennett Park for natural shade areas and a green environment with your loyal household dogs. Let them frolic in the park in the designated off-leash areas at Camira Recreation Park. Laugh joyously with your little ones as they run freely through the park, getting their daily dose of exercise.
Within close vicinity to Springfield Marketplace, 6km down the road and a mere 10 minutes drive is the Robelle Domain, one of Queensland’s newest parklands. Situated on a large piece of land (24 ha), Robelle Domain is a central open space corridor providing more than 11 kilometres of boardwalks, bicycle and walking tracks, sportsfields, amazing water play area and fun playgrounds. Markets are held in Robelle Domain every Saturday from 7am – 1pm. On Sundays, lie back and enjoy jazz and classical music in the park from 2pm-4pm.
Bob Gibbs Park is also close to Springfield Marketplace and it is the inaugural home to the Springfield Panthers. Come and support your local children as they train for the Springfield Junior Rugby League.
